The Holy Grail Makeup Removers

There is no debate that taking makeup off can be a tedious process. Effectively removing all makeup from your skin is time consuming, and it is essential to remove all makeup to avoid clogging pores or breakouts. An issue I struggled with in the past was finding products that effectively take off all my products in the fastest and most simplest process. So today, I will be sharing my favorite makeup removers! These products are all separate methods to take off makeup and can be purchased affordably at most drugstores.

  1. Garnier SkinActive Micellar Foaming Face Wash

Garnier’s makeup removing cleanser is the fastest and easiest way for me to take off all my makeup after a long day. Not only does it strip away makeup, but it cleanses and refreshes your face too! I mean who doesn’t love a two in one product? A little goes a long way, so I use about two pumps to remove all of my eye and face makeup. This product has a foamy consistency and costs roughly $9 a bottle.

2. Almay Longwear Waterproof Wipe It Never Happened Eye Makeup Remover Pads

For me personally, removing eye makeup is always the most challenging process. Trying to take off glitter or waterproof mascara from your eyes can be BRUTAL at times, but this product helps immensely! These are presoaked pads that have an oil base which will nourish your eyelids and eyelashes. Typically, I will use one for each eye and it will wipe all product on my eyes completely off! This product is hypoallergenic and Ophthalmologist tested, so I recommend this product for people with sensitive skin! The value size comes with 120 pads for about $6.50, depending on where you buy it.

3. Kirkland Signature Micellar Daily Facial Cleansing Towelettes

Makeup wipes are easy to bring on the go and are helpful to freshen up your skin throughout the day. This is comparable to the Neutrogena makeup wipes but are substantially cheaper! These are unscented wipes and do not tug or irritate skin after taking off makeup. This can be purchased in a bulk of 180 packs of wipes at Costco for only $15.99! If buying makeup wipes in bulk is too much of a hassle or if you don’t have a Costco membership, the Neutrogena wipes work just the same just at a higher cost :).

4. Garnier SkinActive Micellar Cleansing Water

Last but certainly not least is Garnier’s Micellar Cleansing Water. This product not only removes makeup from the skin, but also extracts excess oil, dust, and grime that has built up on your face throughout the day! I love the waterproof version of this product to completely remove all leftover makeup from my skin and pores. This product costs about $7 for each individual bottle.
